PIVOT Studio is a Brighton based architectural practice established in 2018 by Ian Campbell and Jack Idle.
We balance creativity and efficiency throughout our design process and work to deliver elegant solutions at a range of scales and typologies.
MIDDLEWICH
A feasibility study project which links two adjacent sites through a mixed use mini-masterplan. The proposal reimagines the existing mill buildings to form a community centre, cafe and office space. The proposed public realm links from the mill buildings to the adjacent site over the canal via a new bridge which rotates to allow passing barges. The car park site itself is developed with a residential apartment block rising to seven stories.
